The TNIUS Library is one of the members of INFLIBNET UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium since 2013. UGC has set up this programme to promote use of electronic databases and full text access to e-journals by the research and Academic community of the country. Online databases are accessible via the Library page, which provide access to full-text scholarly research articles beyond the physical wall of the library. The library has got access e_journals of JSTOR through UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium.
JSTOR offers both multidisciplinary and discipline-specific collections. JSTOR is not a current issues database. Because of JSTOR's archival mission, there is a gap, typically from 1 to 5 years, between the most recently published journal issue and the back issues available in JSTOR. JSTOR have a collection of 2076 journals aggregated from 700 publishers from more than 25 countries. Number of titles and publishers joining Jstor is growing gradually. UGC- INFONET Digital Library Consortium members have got access to 2076 full text e-journals from Vol.1 issue 1 onwards up to last three to five years gap depending on the original publisher rights.
The Library subscribe to Publishing India Group Online Journals (16 Journals) since 2013. Publishing India Group (Publishing India) was launched in year 2009, with an objective to be among India's full text publisher covering niche disciplines of Management
The Library subscribe to Press Institute of India online newsletter of "Grassroots" since 2013. Grassroots is a monthly, which looks at a range of social development issues, with the thrust being on women achievers and their fight against the odds. There are stories from across India's heartland and most of them strike a chord. In many ways, it is the voice of the real India.
